Spanish conversation practice online, at your own pace
Useful conversation practice combines listening, an attempted reply and a second attempt after review. Work with short Spanish exchanges, change one detail and check whether your response still fits. KINTAVOR provides self-paced practice activities; it is not a live conversation-class booking service.
Knowing a word when you see it does not always mean you can find it quickly in a conversation. Practise retrieving a useful phrase and responding to a change, rather than only repeating the same sentence.
Use a three-pass listening routine
On the first pass, identify the situation: who is speaking, what they want and what kind of answer would make sense. On the second, listen for a specific detail such as a time or place. Then read the text and compare it with what you heard.
Replay a short section and imitate its rhythm. Aim to make the meaning clear; pause and try again where you lose a word boundary. You do not need to perform a whole dialogue perfectly before moving to the next step.
Practise a reply that is genuinely yours
Change the name, day or preference in an example. Answer once with the written model in front of you, then hide it and try again. Add a follow-up question so that you practise taking a turn, not just finishing a sentence.
If you lose your place, use a repair phrase. Asking for repetition or checking a word is part of communication, not evidence that the practice has failed.
- Say a short reply aloud before checking the example.
- Listen back if you choose to record yourself on your own device.
- Compare one feature at a time: a missing word, sound or verb form.
- Return to the same situation later with a new detail.
What is available in the learning area?
The course includes listening, dictation, pronunciation and conversation activities alongside lessons and review. It also includes an AI tutor with the course’s configured limits; AI answers can be imperfect and are not an official assessment of proficiency.

Will I speak to a live tutor?
This offer is self-paced and does not include live teacher-led conversation lessons. The learning area includes practice activities and an AI tutor with limits.
Can I practise without a microphone?
You can listen, read and say your answer aloud without recording it. Activities that use browser recording require the relevant device support and permission.
Should I repeat an exercise I already know?
Yes, if you change the situation or answer without the written prompt. Repetition is most useful when you can notice what has become easier and what still needs attention.
Does a pronunciation activity certify my speaking level?
No. Course activities support practice. They do not issue an official speaking qualification.
