What this test measures — and what it does not
The test checks basic recognition of security principles, governance, identities, networks, cloud and operations. Questions come from public objectives and legitimate technical sources; they are not official, real, leaked or recalled by candidates.
Fifteen questions are insufficient to estimate readiness for an adaptive exam accurately. The result only classifies your starting point as insufficient foundations, developing or a solid foundation for continuing. It does not predict a pass, generate an ISC2 score or replace a full mock exam.
How the public test works
- 15 questions are presented in English, with one answer per screen.
- Each question assesses a different concept to avoid repeating the same skill.
- At the end, you see a percentage, initial guidance and suggested areas.
- The result can help you choose between foundations, the full syllabus or practice.
- The test does not activate an account, a device or paid access.
The test can be completed on a mobile, tablet or computer. It does not apply the authorised-browser rule because it is public content. If the course is purchased later, the first authenticated login links the account's browser.
How to interpret the percentage

These bands are an internal teaching decision. They do not equate to the official 700/1,000 scale or demonstrate that someone is ready to pass. A high percentage in a small sample may conceal gaps in objectives that were not tested.
Why the questions include explanations
A question supports learning when it explains why one option is correct and why the others are not. Answering without reviewing the explanation can reinforce a mistaken intuition, even if elimination led to the right answer. In the full portal, errors are saved in a notebook and linked to the corresponding lesson and objective.
- Each question has an identifier, outline version, domain, objective and difficulty.
- Repeated options, duplicates and references that do not exist are blocked by validators.
- A report from the portal may temporarily withdraw a question from use.
- AI-generated or AI-assisted content is not automatically published without editorial checks.
What to do after the diagnostic
If you lack fundamentals, review networks, systems, files, processes, identities and cloud before memorising controls. If errors cluster in one domain, study its lessons in order. If the result is balanced, combine brief reviews with scenarios and situational questions.
Do not immediately repeat the same test to raise the number: remembering options can create false improvement. Study the explanation first, then practise with different questions. The full bank contains 750 questions distributed according to the 2026 outline weightings.

Do I need to register to take the test?
No. You can complete the 15-question public test without creating a student account.
Do these questions appear in the exam?
No such claim is made or intended. These are original KINTAVOR questions built from public objectives and do not reproduce confidential content.
Does 75% mean I will pass?
No. It provides guidance from this sample, not psychometric equivalence or a prediction of the official result.
