Frequently asked questions
Important questions before starting
Do I need previous experience or a qualification?
No. ISC2 states that CC requires neither previous cybersecurity work experience nor a formal degree or diploma. It does recommend basic IT knowledge; module 0 covers that foundation.
What is the official exam like?
Information consulted on 11 August 2026 indicates an in-person CAT exam at authorised Pearson VUE centres, available in Spanish, lasting up to two hours with between 100 and 125 questions. A finalised answer cannot be reviewed.
Does 700 out of 1,000 mean getting 70% right?
No. It is a scaled score and does not equate to a percentage of correct answers. ISC2 reports pass or fail, not a final numerical mark.
Does the price include the exam or a voucher?
No. The KINTAVOR course, exam, any voucher and ISC2 fees are separate products. The official EMEA price consulted on 11 August 2026 was €191.04, subject to changes, location and taxes.
What happens after passing?
Passing is not enough to obtain CC: the candidate must submit the application, accept the Code of Ethics and pay the first annual maintenance fee. Always verify the current process with ISC2.
Can I use my account in two browsers?
No. The first login links an authorised browser. Logging out or deleting cookies does not release the link; a change is verified by email and recorded.
Are the questions official or actual exam questions?
No. These are original KINTAVOR practice questions based on public objectives and legitimate technical sources. We do not use exam dumps, leaked material or candidates' recollections.
