Technical and study requirements

Minimum requirements

• A desktop or laptop computer; a mobile phone is suitable for revision but is not recommended for topologies and CLI.
• Current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari with JavaScript and session cookies enabled.
• Stable HTTPS connection and accessible email for registration, recovery and security notices.
• A screen of 1280 × 720 or higher is recommended for labs; browser zoom is supported.
• A physical keyboard is recommended for commands and documentation.
• A PDF reader for downloadable sheets; audio or video playback is not required.

Optional external software

The safe CLI simulator and web trainers do not execute commands on the student's or server's operating system. Some labs can be reproduced in an external tool lawfully chosen by the student.

Packet Tracer is not included, is not compulsory and is not considered part of the KINTAVOR service. Before using it, read section 4.1 of the official licence and download it only from Cisco.

Account and authorised device

One browser or device may be active at a time. Self-service switching is limited, and the limit is displayed before confirming a purchase. Deleting cookies, using private browsing or switching profiles may require new authorisation.

Accessibility and support

Topologies must have text descriptions, avoid relying on colour alone, support keyboard use and remain legible when zoomed. If an activity presents a barrier, contact support with the activity and assistive technology involved, without sending unnecessary medical data.
